We respectfully require 6 weeks written notice in advance of your anticipated last month of childcare. Once this is given, your deposit will be applied as a credit to the child’s last month of tuition. If less than 6 weeks notice is given, the deposit will be forfeited in lieu of notice.

Please note that fees are based on a monthly period and will not be pro-rated in the event that a child must leave at any point during the month.

EKELC recognizes that, for a range of reasons, placement of a child in a care centre may not always be appropriate. Severe behaviour issues can impede a child’s ability to be successful and happy in a childcare centre setting. It can also undermine the Centre’s ability to undertake its learning programs in an effective and safe manner. As such, where disruptive behavioural situations arise, we reserve the right to take such actions as are necessary to ensure the safety of our children and the well-being of our staff. This includes, at our sole discretion, the immediate termination of your childcare space.

EKELC believes in providing and maintaining a work environment in which all employees are free from violence, threats of violence, intimidation, bullying, unkind comments and other disruptive behaviour or actions which belittle, threaten, offend, embarrass, humiliate or diminish another’s self-esteem, whether deliberate or unintentional, including sexual harassment and discrimination. Such actions will not be tolerated and will be addressed immediately. Failure to comply with EKELC policies may, at EKELC’s sole discretion, result in the termination of your childcare space.
